Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — In celebration of the 30th Police Community Relations (PCR) Month, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3), through the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADD) under the leadership of PCOL Myles Angel S. Pascual, spearheaded two meaningful outreach activities that underscored the PNP’s commitment to inclusivity and strengthened community engagement across Central Luzon.
On July 23, 2025, PRO3 personnel visited the St. Joseph Home for Special Children, Inc. in Tarlac, where they distributed food packs, hygiene kits, school supplies, and toys to orphaned and special children.
The activity served as a gesture of compassion and support, affirming the organization’s dedication to marginalized and vulnerable sectors.
The following day, July 24, a feeding and gift-giving program was held for members of the Muslim community in San Pedro Cutud, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.
The event featured Project Brigada Madrasah and Open House Visitation, led by Kamar Bin Ya’cub Sabdulla, Salaam Regional President and National Spokesperson of the Salaam Police Advocacy Group (SPAG), and Ammar Solaiman, SPAG Pampanga Chapter President and Coordinator.
Hosted at the Madrasah Darul Haq Listahfiezil Qur’an Al-Islamic Center, the initiative emphasized religious inclusivity and cultural understanding.
PBGen Ponce Rogelio Penones Jr., Regional Director of PRO3, underscored the significance of such initiatives in humanizing the police force and cultivating public trust.
“These efforts are not simply about distributing goods—they represent our commitment to reach out, to listen, and to show that the police are part of the community’s everyday life—not just in times of crisis, but in moments of care and connection,” RD Penones said.
He added, “Guided by our strategic direction to Protect the People, Pursue Peace and Order, and Promote Professionalism, we continue to uphold the values of service, empathy, and inclusivity.”
These back-to-back outreach activities were made possible through close coordination with community stakeholders, local partners, and members of SPAG, ensuring that assistance reached those who needed it most.
Through initiatives like these, PRO3 continues to affirm its role not only as a protector of peace and order but also as a steadfast partner in nation-building—promoting unity, understanding, and respect among the diverse communities of Central Luzon.
