PRO3 empowers women personnel on Women’s Month

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – In honor of Women’s Month, the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) conducted a Financial Literacy Seminar on March 11, 2025, aimed at equipping its women personnel with essential financial management skills to foster economic empowerment and long-term financial security. The event took place at the PRO3 Post Grandstand Conference Room, Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

Spearheaded by the Regional Community Affairs and Development Division (RCADD) under the leadership of PCOL Marites A. Salvadora, in collaboration with the PNP Regional Finance Unit, led by PCOL Juliet Lumiwes, and various financial and insurance institutions, this initiative underscores PRO3’s commitment to the holistic development of its personnel beyond law enforcement.

The seminar covered critical financial topics, including budgeting, savings, smart investments, and responsible financial decision-making. Renowned financial experts shared practical insights to help policewomen make informed financial choices and secure their futures.

PBGEN Jean S. Fajardo, Regional Director of PRO3, emphasized the importance of financial literacy in empowering women within the organization.

“Financial security is a cornerstone of personal and professional growth. By equipping our policewomen with financial knowledge, we are not only strengthening their financial independence but also ensuring a stable future for them and their families. This initiative reflects PRO3’s commitment to the overall well-being of our personnel,” she stated.

Through this program, PRO3 reaffirms its dedication to gender equality and personnel development, ensuring that women in uniform are not just leaders in law enforcement but also financially empowered individuals capable of shaping their own futures.

Empowered women build stronger communities, and financially independent policewomen stand as pillars of strength—both in service and in life.
