The Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3), under the leadership of PBGEN Jean S. Fajardo, proudly joins the nation in celebrating National Women’s Month this March, paying tribute to the invaluable contributions of women, particularly those serving in law enforcement.
With the sub-theme “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas sa Bagong Pilipinas,” this year’s celebration underscores the vital role of women in shaping a more inclusive, progressive, and equitable society. The month-long observance serves as a platform to recognize and amplify the voices of women in uniform, whose dedication and service contribute significantly to nation-building.
Earlier today, March 4, 2025, PRO3 formally commenced its National Women’s Month celebration with a kick-off ceremony at Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga. The event honored the contributions of female PNP Commissioned Officers, Non-Commissioned Officers, and Non-Uniformed Personnel.
Atty. Mylene M. Eguilos-Caluya, Regional Director of NAPOLCOM 3, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. In her address, she emphasized the importance of gender inclusivity within the police force and lauded PRO3’s continued efforts in empowering women to take on key roles in law enforcement.
In her remarks, PBGEN Fajardo reaffirmed PRO3’s unwavering commitment to gender equality, stating: “In honor of all the women in the police service, we ensure that female police officers play active roles in leadership and decision-making. By providing equal opportunities and fostering an inclusive environment, we bridge gender gaps and strengthen our commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment within the police organization.”
PRO3 remains steadfast in championing gender-responsive policies and initiatives, recognizing that a more inclusive police force leads to a stronger, more effective institution in upholding peace, security, and public service.
