Camp Captain Julian Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Police forces in Central Luzon delivered a major operational breakthrough after authorities in Bulacan and Tarlac successfully arrested all individuals listed under their respective Top Ten Provincial Most Wanted Persons (MWP) for April 2026 in a swift two-day manhunt operation conducted on April 1 and 2.
In Bulacan, the Police Provincial Office, led by PCOL Jay B. Baybayan, Officer-in-Charge, executed a focused and intelligence-driven campaign that resulted in the arrest of all its Top 10 most wanted persons.
The arrested individuals were facing serious charges including rape, robbery, violation of Republic Act 10591 (Illegal Possession of Firearms), and carnapping—offenses that pose significant threats to public safety.
The accomplishment was made possible through strong inter-unit coordination, targeted operations, and the active involvement of intelligence operatives, tracker teams, and cyber patrollers. Despite the observance of the Lenten season, Bulacan police remained relentless in tracking down fugitives, underscoring their firm commitment to the continuous enforcement of warrants of arrest and suppression of criminality.
Meanwhile, in Tarlac, the Police Provincial Office under PCOL Joel Mendoza likewise achieved a full arrest rate of its Top 10 Provincial MWPs ahead of the scheduled April 1–5 manhunt operations.
The arrested individuals were involved in various criminal offenses, including violations of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act), homicide, frustrated homicide, qualified theft, violations of RA 9262 (Violence Against Women and Children), and Batas Pambansa Blg. 22 (Bouncing Checks Law). Some suspects were arrested under warrants with recommended bail, while others were committed for service of sentence.
The synchronized accomplishments of both provinces highlight the effectiveness of intelligence-driven policing, strengthened coordination among operating units, and the sustained operational momentum of law enforcement teams in the region.
PRO3 Regional Director, PBGEN Jess B. Mendez, lauded the accomplishment, emphasizing its alignment with the PNP Focused Agenda of PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr..
“This accomplishment reflects our firm commitment to the PNP Focused Agenda—particularly in the aggressive and sustained implementation of law enforcement operations against wanted persons. Through intelligence-driven strategies, strengthened coordination, and disciplined execution, we ensure that no offender evades justice. Our message is clear: the law will catch up with you,” PBGEN Mendez said.
He further underscored the broader impact of the operations on community safety and public trust.
“By ensuring the swift arrest of wanted persons, we are not only enforcing the law—we are protecting our communities and preserving peace and order. Tuloy-tuloy po ang ating serbisyo—serbisyong mabilis, tapat, at nararamdaman—for every Filipino,” he added.
Authorities assured the public that intensified manhunt operations will continue across Central Luzon as part of ongoing efforts to uphold the rule of law and ensure safer communities for all.
