Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga— In a series of coordinated anti-illegal drug operations, authorities were able to arrest four individuals and seize substantial quantities of illegal drugs.
PCol Relly Arnedo in his report to PRO3 Director PBGen Jose Hidalgo Jr. said that on June 27 at around 8:30PM, joint operatives of the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) and Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU) of Bulacan PPO, along with personnel from Angat Municipal Police Station, conducted a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Niugan, Angat, Bulacan which led to the arrest of @Liit and confiscation of Php1,000.00 bill marked money and 40 grams of suspected shabu, with a Standard Drug Price of Php 272,000.00.
Relatedly on June 26, at about 11:35PM, operatives of Mariveles Municipal Police Station and Bataan PPDEU conducted a joint buy-bust operation in Brgy. Mt. View, Mariveles, Bataan that led to the arrest of @Bryan and @Lisa and seizure of 80 grams of shabu with a Standard Drug Price of Php 544,000.00 and Php 1,000.00 bill marked money.
Meanwhile, on June 25, operatives of Gapan City Police Station executed a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Sto. Niño, Gapan City, Nueva Ecija which led to the arrest of @Derick and confiscation of 50.64 grams of suspected shabu, with a Standard Drug Price of Php 344,352.00.
PBGEN HIDALGO JR said that the successful operations highlight the steadfast dedication of PRO3 to fight the illegal drug trade and protect the safety and well-being of the communities.
“We urge the public to continue supporting the authorities by providing timely information and cooperating in the ongoing fight against illegal drugs,” PBGEN HIDALGO JR added.
