PNP-SACLEO bags 65 individuals in Bulacan

Camp General Alejo S. Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — A total of sixty-five individuals including forty-four drug personalities, eighteen wanted persons, and three illegal gamblers were arrested in different police operations in the two-day Bulacan PNP’s Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) against all forms of illegal activities.
 
In a report submitted to PCol Satur Ediong, OIC of Bulacan PNP, two sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of twenty-five grams worth P162,500 and buy-bust money were seized in the 2nd-day of PNP-SACLEO’s an anti-illegal drug operation conducted by personnel of the Sta. Maria Police Station that resulted in the arrest of a certain alias “Batak”, 41, and alias “Maricar”, 21, that transpired in Brgy. Caypombo, Sta. Maria, Bulacan, at about 9:00 p.m. on August 14, 2024.
 
Meanwhile, sixteen  more drug peddlers were arrested in different buy bust operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of City of San Jose Del Monte, Norzagaray, Plaridel, Meycauayan, and Balagtas Police Station. 
 
Twenty-nine sachets of suspected shabu with a Standard Drug Price P146,000 and marked money were all confiscated during the operation.
 
Ediong said the arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.
 
Moreover, ten persons wanted by law were arrested in a series of manhunt operations conducted by the tracker teams of Bulacan 1st PMFC, Plaridel, Meycauayan, Bocaue, San Jose Del Monte, and Baliuag City Police Station. 
 
All arrested felons are currently under the custody of the arresting unit/stations for proper disposition.
 
Meanwhile, three individuals were caught in the act of engaging in illegal gambling activity, “cara-y-cruz,” in Brgy. Banga 1st, Plaridel, Bulacan.
 
 The authorities apprehended the individuals, including the confiscation of “pangara” coins  and bet money in different denominations.
 
“The string of operations by Bulacan police are in adherence to the marching order of the Chief, PNP, to intensify, strengthen, and focus on the anti-criminality drive of the PNP,” said Ediong.
 
On the first day of SACLEO, twenty-six drug personalities and eight wanted persons were apprehended by Bulacan PNP on Wednesday.
