Anchored on the theme “Lead like the Babaylans, Filipinas,” the 2026 National Women’s Month Job Fair was held yesterday, March 26, 2026, at Level 4, Robinsons Place Malolos, spearheaded by the Provincial Public Employment Service Office (PPESO) and Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) – Bulacan in celebration of National Women’s Month which drew more or less 200 job seekers who flocked to the venue in search of employment opportunities.

Participants were given the chance to connect with Department of Migrant Workers (DMW)-licensed recruitment agencies, engage with trusted international employers, and undergo on-the-spot screening and initial interviews, further enhancing their chances of securing employment with a total of 14 local employers, three overseas companies and eight non-government agencies.

In a parallel effort, the Bulacan Mega Job Fair successfully brought together approximately 600 job seekers on March 23, 2026, at the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) Gymnasium, RTCCL Compound in Tabang, Guiguinto, Bulacan, who explored a wide range of openings from participating employers with 14 participating companies, 12 third party providers affiliated with SMC and two other contractors, organized in partnership with San Miguel Corporation (SMC) and the TESDA, demonstrating a strong private-public collaboration to support local employment.

PPESO Head Engr. Egbert R. Robles stated that in line with the governor’s directive to provide decent and dignified employment for Bulakenyos, their office continues to intensify efforts in organizing job fairs across the province, he also invited Bulakenyos to visit their office and official Facebook page Provincial PESO Bulacan, and encouraged them to take advantage of the free training programs available to further enhance their skills and employability.

Meanwhile in his message, Governor Daniel R. Fernando expressed his gratitude to SMC for opening these employment opportunities to Bulakenyos.

“Ipinagmalaki ko ang ating mga Bulakenyo sa San Miguel Corporation. I am confident they will do well in their respective companies. I also extend my heartfelt thanks to SMC for opening these opportunities for our Bulakenyos,” the governor said.

Fernando further reassured job seekers who were not hired during the events that there will be more opportunities ahead, saying that additional job fairs will be organized in Bulacan in the coming days to meet the growing demand for employment.
