P480K marijuana seized, 4 drug suspects arrested in Bulacan

Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — An estimated four hundred eighty thousand pesos (P480,000) worth of marijuana was seized wherein  four drug personalities, and twelve law breakers were nabbed in Bulacan Police anti-criminality operations on Thursday morning.
 
Reports submitted to PLtCol Isagani Enriquez, Officer-In-Charge of Bulacan Police Provincial Office (PPO), it was stated that at about 3:00 a.m. on August 1, 2024, Guiguinto Police Station conducted a successful drug sting operation in Brgy. Tuktukan that led to the arrest of alias Joshua, 21 yrs. old. 
 
During this operation, confiscated evidence consisted of one piece of medium plastic containing dried leaves and fruiting tops suspected marijuana, four pieces compress cylinder shape of dried leaves and fruiting tops suspected marijuana wrapped in brown plastic, approximately 4000 grams, with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of about P480,000 along with the buy-bust money.
 
Three more drug peddlers were arrested in separate buy bust operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Marilao and Malolos City Police Station wherein twelve sachets of suspected shabu, and marked money were confiscated during the operation.
 
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.
 
Moreover, eight persons wanted by law were arrested in a series of manhunt operations conducted by the tracker teams of Bulacan 2nd PMFC, Plaridel, Pandi, San Rafael, Pulilan and San Jose Del Monte City Police Station.
