P280K SHABU, DRUG SUSPECTS, LAW OFFENDERS ARRESTED IN BULACAN

Camp Gen Alejo S. Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — An estimated two hundred eighty thousand pesos (Php 280,000) total worth of illegal drugs were seized in Bulakan, Bulacan, six drug suspects, one  wanted person, and two illegal gamblers were arrested in anti-criminality operations on September 13 & 14, 2024.

According to the reports submitted to PCol Satur Ediong, Officer-in-Charge of Bulacan PPO, a buy-bust operation was conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Bulakan Police Station in Brgy. Matungao, Bulakan, Bulacan at about 07:15 p.m. and arrested a 35-year-old male suspect. Confiscated during the operation were a total of four (4) medium plastic sachets of suspected shabu with a standard drug price (SDP) of two hundred eighty thousand (Php 280,000), one (1) black pouch, and buy-bust money.

Similarly, the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Angat, Guiguinto and Sta. Maria Police Station conducted different buy bust operations and arrested a total of five (5) drug peddlers. Confiscated during the operations were a total of twelve (12) plastic sachets of suspected shabu and buy-bust money.

The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. While criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspect are now being prepared for filing in court.

Meanwhile, the tracker team of Malolos Police Station arrested one (1) wanted person for the violation of Art 310. (Qualified Theft) in Brgy. Mabolo, Malolos, Bulacan, with warrant of arrest issued by RTC, City of Malolos, Bulacan, dated September 3, 2024.

The arrested accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/station for proper disposition.

On the other hand, the authorities of San Jose del Monte City Police Station conducted an anti-illegal gambling operation, resulting in the arrest of two (2) illegal gamblers. They were caught in the act of playing an illegal coin game “cara y cruz”. The confiscated evidence is playing coins and betting money in different denominations.

The string of operations by the Bulacan police adheres to the marching orders of the Chief, PNP, to intensify, strengthen, and focus on the anti-criminality drive of the PNP, as clearly articulated by the Regional Director of PRO 3, PBGen Jose Hidalgo Jr. The Bulacan police continue their unwavering efforts to combat criminality.
