Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Bulacan Police carried out a series of intensified police operations resulting in the confiscation of illegal drugs, including the arrest of nine drug peddlers, five wanted felons, and three illegal gamblers on July 29, 2024, and early on Tuesday.
According to the reports submitted to PCol Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director of Bulacan PNP, a total of five (5) sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated weight of forty grams and an estimated Standard Drug Price of one hundred thirty six thousand (Php 136,000), brown pouch, and buy-bust money were seized in an anti-illegal drug operation conducted by personnel of the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) together with the authorities of San Ildefonso MPS that resulted in the arrest of alias Tisay, and alias Ging that transpired in Brgy. Sapang Putol, San Ildefonso, Bulacan, at about 2:00 a.m. of July 30, 2024.
Meanwhile, seven (7) more drug peddlers were arrested in different buy bust operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of San Rafael, Bulakan, and Pulilan Municipal Police Station. Twenty-two (22) sachets of suspected shabu, five (5) sachets of suspected marijuana with a total Standard Drug Price (Php 87,600) and marked money were all confiscated during the operation.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.
Moreover, four (4) persons wanted by law were arrested in a series of manhunt operations conducted by the tracker teams of Bulacan 1st PMFC, Sta. Maria, Balagtas and San Jose Del Monte City Police Station. All arrested felons are currently under the custody of the arresting unit/stations for proper disposition.
Furthermore, two (2) individuals were caught in the act of engaging in illegal card game, “pool/poker,” in Brgy. Mapulang Lupa, Pandi, Bulacan. The authorities apprehended the individuals, including the confiscation of one (1) table pool, four (4) pool stick, thirteen (13) pieces of ball (picha), one (1) set of playing cards and bet money in different denominations. The suspects are presently under the custody of the arresting unit for proper disposition.
The string of operations by Bulacan police are in adherence to the marching order of the Chief, PNP, to intensify, strengthen, and focus on the anti-criminality drive of the PNP, which was effectively made clear by the Regional Director of PRO 3, PBGen Jose Hidalgo Jr..
