Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — An estimated of P2,771,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized, and eight drug personalities were nabbed in anti-criminality operations in Meycauayan City, Balagtas town and in the City of San Jose Del Monte in Bulacan on March 24, 2024.
In reports submitted to PCol Relly Arnedo, provincial director of Bulacan Police Provincial Office (PPO), two drug suspects identified as Lalaine Dionisio, 30, single of Barangay Malhacan, Meycauayan, tagged as “drug queen” of Meycauayan and Cherry Pie Ibo, 29, single of Barangay Calvario, Meycauayan City were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Sitio Sampalukan, Barangay Calvario, Meycauayan City, Bulacan.
A drug trade with undercover anti-drug operatives of Meycauayan City Police Station resulted to their arrest and yielded a total of six sachets of suspected shabu, with an estimated weight of 402 grams and a value of Php 2,733,600 (Standard Drug Price, SDP).
Arnedo said that six more drug offenders were arrested in separate drug sting operations by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Balagtas and the City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM) PS.
Sixteen sachets of suspected shabu valued at Php 37,400 (SDP) and marked money were all confiscated during the operation.
The arrested suspects and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects have been prepared for filing in court.
