Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos — One hundred forty-four thousand worth of dried marijuana leaves were seized while thirty-four individuals were apprehended in 5th day of Bulacan PNP’s intensified weeklong Simultaneous Anti-Criminality and Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO).
PCol Charlie Cabradilla, Acting Provincial Director of Bulacan PNP said that the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Malolos CPS conducted anti-drug bust in Brgy. Sto Cristo, City of Malolos, Bulacan at about 12:35AM of May 27, 2022 that resulted to the arrest of two suspects identified as Gerardo Padawan @Jerry; and Minerva Tamayo @Minie both residents of Sto. Rosario, City of Malolos who were caught in the act of conspiring one another in selling a prohibited drug.
Seized were eleven sachets and one brick of dried marijuana leaves weighing more or less 1200 grams with an estimated drug price of one hundred forty-four thousand pesos (Php 144,0000.00).
Likewise, five more drug personalities were arrested in different anti-illegal drug operations by SDEU of Balagtas, Marilao and Pandi MPS. They were identified as Fidel Cayco @Pate; Monte Carlo Remolano @Chet; Ric Orjaleza; Michael Avien Dela Cruz; and Mark Aaron Interior. Confiscated evidences were a total of 15 sachets of suspected shabu, two (2) sachets of dried marijuana leaves, coin purse and buy-bust money.
Meanwhile, different anti-illegal gambling operations conducted by operatives of Baliwag, Marilao and Norzagaray MPS resulted to the arrest of ten felons.
Six (ere caught in the act of playing cara y cruz while four (4) others for engaging in illegal card games. Recovered evidences are a 6 pcs one-peso coin used as pangara, deck of playing card and bet money in different denominations.
Appropriate criminal complaints against all the arrested suspects are now being prepared for filing in court.
On the other hand, 17 persons wanted by law were arrested in different manhunt operations by the tracker teams of DRT, Guiguinto, Marilao, Norzagaray, Obando, Paombong, San Miguel, San Rafael, SJDM, Sta. Maria, 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) together with the elements of Hagonoy MPS, 2nd PMFC Bul PPO, 301st MC RMFB-3, PHPT Bulacan and 3rd SOU-Maritime Group.
They were arrested for the crimes of Estafa, Qualified Theft, Robbery, Attempted Murder, Grave Coercion, Attempted Homicide, Usurpation of Authority or Official Functions, Violation of RA 7610 (Child Abuse Law), RA 9262 (Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children), and National Internal Revenue Code. All accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/stations for proper disposition.
Bulacan police are stern on its implementation of Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation (SACLEO) with emphasis on its intensified campaign against illegal drugs, Manhunt Operation against Most Wanted and Wanted Persons and all other forms of criminality as directed by the Chief PNP and the Regional Director of PNP Region 3.
