P10.6M illegal drugs seized, 226 suspects arrested in PRO3’s weeklong ops

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — A total of 236 individuals were arrested while P10.6-million worth of illegal drugs were seized during the weeklong anti-criminality operations conducted by the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3).
 
PRO3 director PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. said covering the period from November 9 to November 16, 2025, PRO3 units carried out 158 operations, leading to the arrest of law offenders, including 114 wanted persons, 36 of whom are listed as Most Wanted at various levels.
 
A total of 1,561.92 grams of shabu valued at P10,621,065.53 and 176.19 grams of dried marijuana leaves worth P21,143.68 were confiscated, bringing the total drug haul to P10,642,209.21.
 
Meanwhile, 44 loose firearms were recovered—39 confiscated or surrendered, and 5 placed under safekeeping—resulting in the arrest of 28 suspects for violations of Republic Act No. 10591, or the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition.
 
Peñones commended the efforts of all operating units across Central Luzon for their dedication and efficiency, noting that these achievements manifest PRO3’s alignment with the PNP Focused Agenda of Acting Chief, PNP, PLTGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. and PRO3’s 3Ps Strategic Direction of Protect the People, Pursue Peace and Order, and Promote Professionalism.
 
“These accomplishments demonstrate the collective effort of Team PRO3 to uphold the law and ensure the safety of our communities. We remain steadfast in our commitment to perform our duties with integrity, transparency, and professionalism,” Peñones said.
