Over ₱1.7M Worth of Illegal Drugs Seized in PRO3’s Sustained Anti-Drug Operations

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) sustained its relentless campaign against illegal drugs even during the holiday period, resulting in the arrest of multiple high-value drug suspects and the seizure of large quantities of illegal drugs and a firearm in separate operations across Nueva Ecija, Tarlac City, and Bulacan on December 23–24, 2025.
 
In Brgy. Tampac 1, Guimba, Nueva Ecija, joint operatives of the Guimba Municipal Police Station–Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU), PSOG NEPPO, PIU NEPPO, 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company, NEPPO, and the 303rd Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 3 conducted a buy-bust operation shortly after midnight on December 24. The operation led to the arrest of two high-value individuals and the confiscation of approximately 155 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price of ₱1,054,000.00 along with one improvised firearm and two live ammunition of caliber .45.
 
Earlier, in Brgy. San Vicente, Tarlac City, joint operatives of the Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit (PPDEU) and Tarlac City Police Station carried out a separate buy-bust operation, resulting in the arrest of two individuals and the seizure of about 53 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱360,400.00 including buy-bust money and other drug-related evidence.
 
Meanwhile, in Brgy. Caingin, Bocaue, Bulacan, operatives of the Bocaue Municipal Police Station apprehended two more suspects and confiscated approximately 55 grams of suspected shabu with a standard drug price of ₱374,000.00 during another buy-bust operation.
 
All arrested individuals were informed of their constitutional rights, while the seized drug evidence was forwarded to the appropriate forensic units for laboratory examination. The suspects are currently under police custody for proper disposition.
 
In a statement, PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., Regional Director of PRO3, emphasized that police operations will not slow down despite the holiday season.
 
“Even during the holidays, our fight against illegal drugs does not stop. Our personnel remain on full alert to protect our communities and ensure that criminals cannot take advantage of this period. This is our commitment to the PNP Focused Agenda of Acting Chief PNP,PLTGEN Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr  and to the safety of every Central Luzon resident,” he said.
