PULILAN, BULACAN- Nagsagawa ng groundbreaking ang NLEX Corporation para sa konstruksyon ng five-kilometer Candaba 3rd Viaduct na nasa pagitan ng Pampanga at Bulacan sa Barangay Dulong Bayan nitong Miyerkules.
Si House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez ang nanguna sa nasabing groundbreaking ceremony kasama sina Senior Deputy Speaker Aurelio Gonzales, TRB Executive Director Alvin Carullo, Pampanga Governor Dennis Pineda, Bulacan Vice Governor Alex Castro, DPWH Region 3 Director Roseller Tolentino, Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) new president Rogelio L. Singson, at NLEX Corporation President J. Luigi L. Bautista.
Ang proyektong Candaba 3rd Viaduct ay para mas mapabuti ang kaligtasan at mobility ng mga motorista.
Target matapos ang project sa Nobyembre ng taong 2024, ang P7.89-bilyong istrukturang ito ay nangangailangan ng pagtatayo ng bagong tulay sa gitna ng dalawang umiiral na viaduct.
Oras na maging operational ay tataas ang road capacity sa buong Candaba Viaduct mula sa three lanes without shoulder to three lanes with inner and outer shoulders sa bawat direksyon.
Ang mga lanes at shoulders ay magiging malawak na siyang magpapaibayo ng kaligtasan at kaginhawahan ng mga dumadaan sa viaduct.
“This project will not only enhance the efficiency of our transportation network but also contribute to the overall socioeconomic development of the region. It will create jobs, attract investments, and stimulate economic growth,” ayon kay Romualdez:
“The construction of the Candaba 3rd Viaduct is the start of another milestone project of MPTC and NLEX Corporation and has been made possible by the support of various national and local government partners and their valued partners,” wika ni Singson.
Aniya, ang proyekto ay magpapataas ng kapasidad ng five-kilometer Candaba Viaduct.
“This new mobility project will offer easy journeys and make travel safer for the public traveling between Metro Manila and Central and North Luzon as there will be a new structure to augment the existing ones and will safely allow the speed limit to increase to 60 to 80 kilometers per hour from the current 40 to 60 kilometers per hour,” wika naman ni NLEX Corp. President Bautista.
Nabatid na ang Candaba Viaduct ay vital link para sa mga motorista na bumibiyahe galing Metro Manila patungong mga lalawigan sa Central at North Luzon sa loob ng 50 taon.
Sinabi naman ni Vice Gov. Castro na ang proyektong ito ay hindi lamang magpapabilis sa transportasyon sa pagitan ng Bulacan at Pampanga, ito ay magbubukas ng maraming oportunidad para sa mga bayan at lungsod para sa pag-usad at pag-unlad ng ekonomiya sa rehiyon na maghahatid din ng maraming trabaho at makakaengganyo ng maraming mga mamumuhunan.
“Sa pagtatapos ng proyektong ito ay milyun-milyong Pilipino ang makikinabang at mabibigyan ng pagkakataon sa mabilis na transaksyon at pakikipagkalakalan,” ani Catsro.
