The Pampanga Delta swept their games in Pili, Camarines Sur to remain at first place in the team standings of the National Basketball League-Pilipinas (NBL) Chairman’s Cup 2022.
The Delta turned back host team Camsur Express, 89-76, and defeated La Union PAOwer, 93-90, in games held at the Fuerte Camarines Sur Sports Complex over the weekend to claim a 6-0 win-loss record and first place in the team standings.
Archie Concepcion delivered 23 points including four threes, while MJ Garcia had 19 points and 11 rebounds in the win over Camsur last Friday.
Garcia registered another double-double in their Sunday game against the PAOwer when he made 26 points and 11 assists in the close victory.
In other results, Erven Silverie had 23 points and five assists as La Union defeated Quezon City All-Stars, 101-98, last Friday.
Mike Sampurna finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds to lift Taguig Generals to a 113-81 win over Quezon City All-Stars last Saturday.
Taguig is now tied with Bulacan DF Republicans for second place with a 6-1 win-loss record followed by La Union with 6-2. Camsur is at fifth with a 3-5 slate, followed by Quezon City with a 3-5 mark.
