Angeles City Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin Jr. on July 25, 2024 took a moment to sit down with the evacuees to hear their stories during his visit at the Main Evacuation Center in Barangay Mining.
Mayor Lazatin assures that the city government will provide support and assistance to the evacuees.
Since yesterday, Lazatin has been monitoring the condition of the evacuees as he ordered the City Social Welfare and Development Office, headed by Edna Duaso, to immediately attend to their needs.
To date, 48 families — composed of 270 individuals — are temporarily housed at the city’s Main Evacuation Center.
