ANGELES CITY — Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. has ordered the City Engineer’s Office headed by Engr. Donato Dizon to form roving teams to immediately clear roads from obstructions.
This is view of the advisory from the DOST-PAGASA of the impending entry of Super Typhoon Betty in the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
Lazatin wants to ensure everyone’s safety in the event of emergencies like strong winds toppling down certain obstructions.
Apart from this, the Angeles City Disaster Reduction and Management Office headed by Rodolfo Simeon is all set and ready 24/7.
“Tuloy-tuloy po ang pagtatrabaho natin. Napakaimportante po na siguraduhin at unahin ang kapakanan at kaligtasan ng mga kababayan natin,” Lazatin assured.
