The health and wellness campaign focused on seven core habits that will lead Bulakenyos to a healthier and happier life including Move More, Eat Right; Be Clean, Live Sustainably; Get Vaccinated; Don’t Smoke, Lessen Alcohol, Say No to Drugs; Care for Yourself, Care for Others; Practice Safe Sex; and Do No Harm, Put Safety First.
It featured activities that will promote healthy living lifestyle such as Libreng Gupit and Libreng Masahe, and Zumba Marathon that was participated by City and Municipal Health Staff, Barangay Health Workers, Rotary Club District 3770, PNP Bulacan and PGB Employees.
Meanwhile, Vice Governor Alexis C. Castro advised the Bulakenyos to always put their health on top of their priority list.
“Pangunahin po sa ating prayoridad ay ang pagtalakay sa ating kalusugan sapagkat sa pamamagitan ng malakas na katawan ay nagagawa natin ang mga bagay na nakakatulong sa ating pagsulong. Sa pamamagitan ng maayos na kalusugan ay binibigyan natin ng mas malalim na kahulugan ang ating buhay. Bilang kasapi ng pamayanan ay mayroon tayong obligasyon—obligasyon na panatilihing malusog ang ating mga sarili,” Castro said.
