The second Kadiwa ni Kita at Ani at the AC Cityhall earned P51,070 in two days.
Mayor Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. expressed his thanks to all who showed their support to the two-day Kadiwa, especially the employees and the taxpayers.
“Nakakataba po ng puso na makitang tinatangkilik po ang ating Kadiwa, hindi lamang po ng ating mga empleyado sa City Hall, kundi maging ang mga bumibisita dito, lalo na ng ating mga taxpayers,” Lazatin said.
Mayor Lazatin said that the city government through the Angeles City Economic Development Investment and Promotions Office headed by Irish Bonus-Llego, under the supervision of Chief Adviser IC Calaguas and Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, will host the Kadiwa kiosks monthly at the City Hall compound, via schedule.
The next Kadiwa at the City Hall will be on July 24 and 25, 2024.
The Kadiwa is launched by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. through the Department of Agriculture to ensure the availability and affordability of food in areas with high demand and in communities with low-income families.
