MANILA, Philippines – One lucky bettor from Iloilo bagged the whopping Php 401 million jackpot prize of Saturday night, July 9, 2022 Grand Lotto 6/55 draw.
In an advisory, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Sunday that the winner will take home the Php 401,186,804.80 jackpot prize.
The winning combination was 02-18-49-07-19-47 and the lucky ticket was purchased in Iloilo City, Iloilo.
71 bettors who guessed five correct numbers won second prize and will receive PHP100,000 each.
Meanwhile, 5,011 players guessed four of the six winning combination and they will get Php 1,500 each. 110,867 players won Php 60 each for guessing three numbers.
To claim his/her check, the bettor must go to the PCSO’s main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket and two ID cards.
As provided under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion law, lotto winnings of more than P10,000 shall be subject to a 20% tax.
The Grand Lotto 6/55 was last won on March 14, 2022 by a bettor who bought the winning ticket from a lotto outlet in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
Aside from Grand Lotto, another lucky player bagged the jackpot prize of Php 5.9 million in the Lotto 6/42 on Saturday.
The Grand Lotto 6/55 is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
PCSO urged the public to keep on patronizing their games to generate more funds for health programs, medical assistance and services, and charities.
