CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan — A criminal gang leader was nabbed for selling illegal drugs together with seven (7) drug dealers and nine (9) wanted felons as the 4th day of Bulacan PNPs SACLEO continues on October 31, 2022.
PCol. Relly Arnedo,PD Bulacan PPO identified the suspect as Jannel Contreras alyas Miyaw, 33, who was arrested by the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) in a drug-bust operation in Brgy. Sta. Ines, Plaridel, Bulacan at about 05:40pm Monday.
As the leader of the notorious Contreras Criminal Gang, who perpetrated Robbery “Hold-Ups” and Carnappings (Motornapping) in the Province of Bulacan, Contreras was tagged as PRO3 – Regional Priority High Value Individual and Provincial High Value Individual of Bulacan.
Recovered from alyas Miyaw were four (4) sachets of suspected shabu weighing at about five (5) grams with a DDB value of PHP 34,000.000 and marked money.
Likewise, Malolos City PS recovered PHP 68,000.00 worth of suspected shabu and a pistol gun replica from Jay R Domaso, during a buy-bust operation at San Agustin, Malolos City.
Moreover, an estimated total of PHP 43,000.00 worth of suspected shabu were seized during a series of anti-drug operations by Norzagaray, Pulilan and San Miguel PS. As a result, three (3) from Norzagaray, two (2) from Pulilan and one (1) from San Miguel were arrested for selling illegal drugs.
Further, man-hunt operations by tracker teams from 1st and 2nd PMFC, Balagtas, San Rafael, Bustos, CSJDM, and Guiguinto PS resulted in the arrest of nine (9) wanted felons by virtue of Warrant of Arrest.
