Former BJMP personnel nabbed in police drug operation in Dinalupihan

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — A former Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) personnel was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Dinalupihan Municipal Police Station in Brgy. Daang Bago, Dinalupihan, Bataan on Thursday, October 16.
PBGen Ponce Rogelio Peñones Jr., Regional Director of Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) said the operation was led by Dinalupihan Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) which resulted in the arrest of alias “DC,” 31years old, a former BJMP officer.
Seized from the suspect’s possession were 122.10 grams of suspected shabu worth P830,280.00, along with the marked money used in the transaction.
In a statement, the police regional top cop lauded the operatives, saying: “This accomplishment reflects our strong adherence to the focused agenda of Acting Chief, PNP, PLTGEN Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr., particularly in intensifying the campaign against illegal drugs and ensuring accountability among those who once served in government. No one is above the law.”
He reaffirmed that PRO3 remains steadfast in its anti-illegal drug efforts toward a drug-free and safer Central Luzon.
Meanwhile, appropriate case is being prepared to be filed against the suspect who is currently detained at the Dinalupihan Police detention facility.
