CITY OF MALOLOS — The Bulacan Provincial Agriculture Office (PAO) reported that the estimated damages to agriculture and fisheries as of 3:00 PM on Thursday have reached to a total of P86,320,723.81.
The amount of P85,635,423.81 is from affecting 1,870 farmers and 962 fisherfolks across the province, while the initial damage report on livestock and poultry reached P685,300.00.
Due to their current situation, the municipalities of Calumpit, Balagtas, Paombong, and the City of Meycauayan have officially declared a State of Calamity, allowing the release of emergency funds and enforcement of price controls, and intensification of rescue and relief operations.
As everyone continue to face the onslaught of the southwest monsoon intensified by Tropical Cyclones Crising, Dante, and Emong, the Provincial Government of Bulacan has activated a full-scale disaster response to ensure the safety and welfare of affected Bulakenyos.
A total of 188 evacuation centers have been activated across the province, currently accommodating 6,041 families with 19,638 individuals, primarily from the flood-prone areas and other low-lying municipalities.

To address the current situation, the Provincial Social Welfare Development Office (PSWDO), led by Governor Daniel R. Fernando and Vice Gov. Alexis C. Castro has continuously conducting relief operations and had initially distributed a total of 1,185 relief packs to various evacuation centers in the municipalities of Paombong, City of Malolos, and Marilao.
The PDRRMO has also intensified its operations through continuous CCTV monitoring for sudden heavy rainfall and rising water levels, raising the Emergency Operations Center alert status from Blue to Red, ongoing weather monitoring across all cities and municipalities, participation in core group teleconferences with national and local agencies, continuous weather forecasting to ensure timely and accurate updates, daily dissemination of weather advisories via social media and partner agencies, and the full implementation of the Incident Command System with designated Incident Management Teams in affected areas.
According to the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO), the province is forecasted to experience Yellow to Orange Rainfall Warning from 5:00 AM on July 24, 2025, until 5:00 AM on July 25, 2025, due to the combined effects of the southwest monsoon and the three tropical cyclones which raises the risk of flash floods and landslides in vulnerable areas.
In an emergency meeting held on Wednesday, Fernando as the chairman of PDRRMC, directed the PDRRMO and other concerned offices and agencies to intensify weather monitoring, carry out rapid damage assessments, and strengthen coordination with local government units to ensure a sustained response and prompt recovery.
