Fernando, Castro recognized for exemplary leadership at Club Bulakeño’s 36th anniversary

CITY OF MALOLOS – Governor Daniel R. Fernando sparkled with elegance and pride as he was named as one of the Huwarang Anak ng Bulacan 2025 awardees for his exemplary leadership and commitment to the people of Bulacan during Club Bulakeño Inc.’s 36th Anniversary and Annual Fund-Raising Ball held at the Rizal Ballroom of Shangri-La Mall in Makati City recently.

In his acceptance speech for the award, Fernando emphasized that true leadership is grounded in responsibility, humility, and commitment to the common good of Bulakenyos.

GOV. DANIEL R. FERNANDO

Meanwhile, Vice Gov. Alexis C. Castro, who accepted the same recognition, expressed his gratitude and said that he will use this award as his inspiration to further strengthen his commitment to public service.

The “La Bulakeña Ball”, celebrating Bulacan’s pride through the Huwarang Anak ng Bulacan awards, also recognized other achievers, including Regine Velasquez-Alcasid and REX Education Chairman and President Atty. Dominador “Jimmy” Buhain, among others.

Founded by Engr. Gene Retes and his wife Lydia Reyes, the La Bulakeña Ball is dedicated to supporting scholarship programs and other charitable initiatives to uplift the lives of fellow Bulakenyos.
