LUNGSOD NG MALOLOS – Sinimulan na ni Gobernador Daniel R. Fernando ang personal na pamamahagi ng relief goods sa mga Bulakenyong naapektuhan ng Bagyong Carina na pinalakas ng Hanging Habagat kahapon.
May kabuuang 718 indibidwal o 199 pamilya mula sa mga Barangay ng Malis, Ilang-Ilang, Tuktukan, Sta. Rita, Tiaong, at Sta. Cruz sa Guiguinto ang una nang nakatanggap ng relief goods mula sa Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Bulacan sa pangunguna ni Fernando at Bise Gob. Alexis C. Castro.
Nagdala rin siya ng tulong sa Brgy. Pandayan at Calvario sa Lungsod ng Meycauayan, at Brgy. Pio Cruzcosa sa Calumpit.
“Ang mahalaga po ngayon ay mabigyan natin ng pagkain ‘yung mga nasa evacuation center at ibang mga nasa bahay pa na may tubig. Humingi na po tayo ng assistance sa DSWD para sa food packs, at gayundin, and Provincial Government ay magbibigay tayo ng sa iba’t ibang bayan at siyudad lalawigan,” anang gobernador at Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council Chairman sa kanilang pagpupulong kahapon.
Ayon sa pinakabagong datos mula sa Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) ngayong 8:00 ng umaga ng Hulyo 26, 185 barangay mula sa tatlong lungsod at 12 bayan ang apektado pa rin ng isa hanggang limang talampakang tubig baha, at 29,938 katao o 10,024 pamilya ang pansamantalang sumilong sa iba’t ibang evacuation areassa buong lalawigan.
Samantala, madadaanan na ang lahat ng pangunahing daan sa Bulacan ngunit pinapayuhan ang mga motorista na mag-ingat sa pagbaybay sa mga minor at inner road dahil sa baha sa mga bahagi ng lalawigan.
Ayon kay District Engineer Henry Alcantara ng DPWH-First District Engineering Office (DEO) nag-deploy na sila ng disaster response team at mga equipment partikular na sa mga critical roads at may high risk of flooding dahil sa pananalanta ng Habagat at Bagyong Carina.
“Quick response assets were strategically positioned along key areas of the DEO’s jurisdiction, including Manila North Road, Maharlika Highway, Bigaa-Plaridel Road, and Plaridel Bypass Road, to ensure swift emergency response, conduct immediate clearing operations, and maintain public mobility on these national roads,” wika ni DE Alcantara.
Nagsagawa rin ng on-site inspections ang mga District officials kabilang ang Assistant District Engineer sa pamumuno ni Engr. Brice Erickson Hernandez at mga Section Chiefs upang suriin ang mga kalsadahan sakop ng kanilang tanggapan at mag-assist sa mga stranded individuals dahil sa patuloy na pag-uulan.
Tiniyak ni Alcantara na ang kanilang tanggapan ay mananatiling nakabantay sa typhoon’s impact at maghahatid ng regular na road situational reports para ipabatid sa publiko.
Nakahanda rin ang DPWH-Bulacan 1st DEO na ipagamit sa provincial government ang kanilang mga truck para makatulong sa response and rescue operation sa mga nasalanta ng baha.
Dahil sa hagupit ng bagyo, nagtala ang buong lalawigan ng tinatayang halaga ng pinsala na P789 milyon sa imprastraktura; P81,200,649.69 sa agrikultura at pangisdaan; at P955,100 sa livestock at poultry.
