Drug suspects arrested, P2.2M shabu seized

Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Multiple High-Value Individuals (HVIs) were arrested and a total of ₱2,210,000.00 worth of suspected shabu was seized in a series of coordinated anti-illegal drug operations conducted across Central Luzon on November 13, 2025.
 
In Talavera, Nueva Ecija, two HVIs were apprehended by Talavera MPS, PSOG-NEPPO, and PIU-NEPPO during a buy-bust operation that yielded 75 grams of suspected shabu valued at Php 510,000.00.
 
Just an hour later, in Balanga City, Bataan, a newly identified HVI was arrested by the SDEU of Balanga CPS, resulting in the confiscation of 200 grams of suspected shabu worth ₱1,360,000.00, along with a backpack, mobile phone, and buy-bust money.
 
Meanwhile in Sto. Domingo, Nueva Ecija, another HVI was arrested by Sto. Domingo MPS, NEPPO units, and RMFB3 during a separate buy-bust operation, with police recovering 50 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱340,000.00.
 
Regional Director PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. commended the involved units for their coordinated efforts and reiterated PRO3’s firm stand against illegal drugs.
 
“The series of successful operations reflect PRO3’s intensified campaign against illegal drugs and its commitment to apprehending high-value individuals involved in the regional drug trade.These operations deliver a clear message: illegal drugs have no place in Central Luzon. We will continue to pursue individuals who undermine peace and public safety,” RD Peñones Jr said.
 
He emphasized that these accomplishments reflect PRO3’s active support to the PNP Focused Agenda of Acting Chief, PNP, PLTGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., particularly in strengthening operational competence, accountability, and strategic police operations.
