DPWH Bataan 3rd DEO welcomes new OIC Assistant District Engineer

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Bataan 3rd District Engineering Office (DEO) held a turnover ceremony on July 3, 2025, to officially welcome Engineer Ian Patrick Clemente as the new Officer-in-Charge (OIC) – Assistant District Engineer.
 
District Engineer Maribel Navarro led the ceremony, joined by section chiefs and staff, reaffirming the office’s commitment to strong leadership and the continuous improvement of infrastructure services in the district.
 
In her message, Navarro expressed confidence that Clemente’s expertise, strong leadership, and unwavering dedication will play a vital role in advancing the DEO’s infrastructure initiatives and enhancing overall operational efficiency.
 
“We are confident that Engineer Clemente’s skills will further strengthen our efforts to deliver quality infrastructure systems and services in pursuit of better public works for the people of Bataan,” Navarro said.
 
Prior to his new role as OIC-Assistant District Engineer, Clemente served as head of the Planning and Design Section of the Bulacan 3rd DEO, and in his remarks, he expressed gratitude for the opportunity while pledging his full support to the district’s ongoing and future initiatives.
 
“I am honored to serve the Bataan 3rd DEO in this capacity and look forward to working with the team to ensure the effective implementation of our infrastructure programs.
Together, we will continue building a more progressive and resilient province,” he stated.
 
Meanwhile, Engineer Henry John Morada, the outgoing Assistant District Engineer, was also recognized during the ceremony for his exemplary leadership and significant contributions before his designation as District Engineer of the Batangas 4th DEO in Region IV-A, by virtue of Special Order No. 84, Series of 2025.
 
Also present at the ceremony were DPWH Region III Administrative Division Chief Aikko Kris Mallari-Argel, Bulacan 3rd District Engineer Edgardo Pingol, Assistant District Engineer Cyrone Kevin Tolentino, their respective section chiefs, and key officials and employees of the Bataan 3rd DEO.
