Several employees of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) – Zambales 1st District Engineering Office (DEO) participated in a recent Blood Donation Drive facilitated by the Philippine Red Cross – Zambales Chapter to support hospitals and medical centers across the province.
OIC-District Engineer Allan Ladines emphasized the importance of the initiative, stating that donating blood is a simple yet powerful way to help those in need.
“Each drop has the potential to save lives. We take pride in promoting the health and welfare of our fellow citizens through this effort,” Ladines said.
This campaign is part of the DPWH – Zambales 1st DEO’s ongoing commitment to community service and public health, resulting in the collection of 50 units of blood and supporting broader social responsibility efforts to benefit the community and enhance well-being.
