CABANATUAN CITY — Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) inaugurated two inter-town connectivity projects in Nueva Ecija.
These will provide a hassle-free driving experience for motorists traveling from Sto. Domingo to the municipalities of Aliaga and Talavera.
DPWH Nueva Ecija 1st OIC-District Engineer Armando Manabat disclosed that formally opened infrastructures include a 2.20-kilometer road with a 90.80-meter bridge crossing barangay Dolores in Sto. Domingo and barangay San Carlos in Aliaga.
Also, a 2.40-kilometer road including a 153.50-meter bridge connecting barangay San Agustin in Sto. Domingo and barangay Pag-asa in Talavera.
“The projects will reduce the travel time between the municipalities by more than 50 percent,” Manabat said.
They are likewise expected to bring huge impact on economic interaction between the interconnected municipalities.
