CAMP OLIVAS, CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA- A fugitive listed in the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG)’s Most Wanted Person (National level), and two more most wanted (provincial level) was arrested by police authorities in Nueva Ecija on Friday, February 18, 2022.
In Nueva Ecija, joint operatives of Regional Intelligence Unit 3 (RIU3) together with, Gapan City Police Station, Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (PPO), Regional Intelligence Division 3(RID3), Alfonso Lista Police Station, 22nd SAC, 2SAC armed with Warrant of Arrest (WA) proceeded at Barangay San Vicente in Gapan City where they able to arrest a rape suspect who was hiding for almost thirteen years for the crime he committed.
Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) regional director BGen Mathew Baccay identified the arrested suspect as Romulo Garcia alias “Mulong”, 72 years old, and resident of said place who was charged of “Rape” under Criminal Case No. 153/154-97 issued by Hon. Efren M Cacatian, Acting Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 15 in Alfonso Lista, Ifugao province dated May 13, 2009 with no bail recommended.
The suspect is listed in the National Most Wanted Person of DILG and he carries a P90,000.00 monetary reward based on DILG Memorandum Circular Number 2008-09.
On same day in Zambales, two more most wanted persons (provincial level) here facing rape case and child abuse were arrested by operatives of Zambales Police Provincial Office (PPO), Palauig Police Station, 1st Police Mobile Force Company, Masinloc Police Station and Criminal Investigation Detection Group (CIDG) Alaminos.
Zambales PPO provincial director PCol Fitz Macariola identified the first arrested suspect as
Louie Francisco Suniga, resident of Palauig, Zambales and listed as most wanted person in provincial level.
He was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest issued by Judge Arginald Julius Esguerra of of RTC Br 54, Alaminos, Pangasinan for rape case.
Macariola added that one Francis Dionisio was also arrested for Violation of RA 7610 (child abuse act) and listed as most wanted person (provincial level).
The suspect was arrested in Brgy. Panayonan, Candelaria, Zambales by CIDG Zambales, Candelaria Police armed with Warrant of Arrest issued by Judge Maribel Beltran of Family Court, 3rd RTC Branch 13, Iba, Zambales.
“We are continuously stepping-up on our campaign to eradicate all forms of criminality including intensification of manhunt operations against wanted persons within the region. We will have no let-up as even weekends are not rest days for us,” PRO3 director said.
