FIRST DISTRICT, Pampanga – Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. filed a resolution on July 24, 2025 congratulating the Iglesia Ni Cristo on their 111th Founding Anniversary.
The Iglesia Ni Cristo, founded by Felix Y. Manalo in Sta. Ana, Manila, is celebrating its anniversary on July 27, 2025.
“Sa ngalan po ng aking pamilya at mga katuwang sa Unang Distrito ng Pampanga, nais ko pong ipahatid ang aming taos pusong pagbati ng maligayang ika-111 anibersaryo sa buong pamunuan at mga kaanib ng Iglesia Ni Cristo ngayong ika-27 ng Hulyo 2025,” Lazatin said.
Since its establishment on July 27, 1914, the Iglesia Ni Cristo has spread not only throughout the Philippines but to several other countries.
It is currently headed by Eduardo V. Manalo.
The Iglesia Ni Cristo has set various records in the Guinness World Records List throughout the years, including the Largest Gospel Choir, formed by 4,745 members during their centennial celebration; the Largest Charity Walk in a Single Venue with over 1.5 million participants on May 6, 2018; and Most People Baptized in a single event with 18,272 baptisms.
As of writing, there are 38 locales of the Iglesia Ni Cristo in the First District of Pampanga – 19 in Angeles City, 12 in Mabalacat City, and seven in the Municipality of Magalang.
