CONG POGI DISTRIBUTES CEMENT TO MABALACAT, MAGALANG

FIRST DISTRICT, Pampanga – Pampanga First District Representative Carmelo “Pogi” Lazatin, Jr. continues to distribute cement to barangays in Mabalacat City and Magalang Municipality as support for minor infrastructure projects in the community.

Lazatin began the distribution last month, visiting the barangays to deliver his personal donation of 15 sacks of cement to each barangay, funded out of his own pocket.

Since July, Lazatin has donated cement to 15 barangays in Mabalacat – Atlu Bola, Bical, Bundagul, Cacutud, Camachiles, Dapdap, Dolores, Mabiga, Mawaque, Paralayunan, San Joaquin, Sapang Balen, Sta. Maria, and Tabun; and eight barangays in Magalang – Camias, San Francisco, San Jose, San Pedro 1, San Pedro 2, San Roque, San Vicente, and Sta. Cruz.

“Maliit lang pong tulong ito para suportahan ang mga proyektong inprastraktura ng mga barangay natin sa Unang Distrito,” Lazatin said.

It can be recalled that on August 19, 2025, Lazatin sat down with members of the Central Luzon Media Association (CLMA) Pampanga Chapter to discuss his planned infrastructure projects for the First District.

According to Lazatin, he plans to request for P200 million pesos to fund the construction of computer labs in 19 public high schools and P260 million pesos to fund the rehabilitation of all 173 day care centers in the First District in 2026.

The planned projects were outlined during a workshop of programs held on August 16, 2025, facilitated by Lazatin’s Chief Adviser, IC Calaguas, and Chief Political Affairs Officer Reina Manuel, together with District Engineer Arnold Ocampo of the DPWH Pampanga 3rd District Engineering Office.

Also present during the workshop are Lazatin’s long-time staff – Mina Cabiles, Irish Llego, Michael Lising, Anneleen Antonio, Mary Jane Calimquim, Anne Salonga, and Sharmaine Gonzales.
