CIAC conducts relief operation in storm-stricken Batangas town

CLARK AVIATION CAPITAL (CIAC-PAD, 18 November 2024) — The Clark International Airport Corp. (CIAC) conducted on November 14, 2024 a relief operation in the Municipality of Laurel in Batangas that was severely-affected by Tropical Storm Kristine (international name Trami) last month.
The relief mission is part of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program of CIAC President and CEO Jojit Alcazar.
At least 650 families in Laurel, one of the hardest-hit areas in the south, each received relief packages consisting of five (5) kilograms of rice with a blanket, toiletries and bottled water.
Donations in cash and in kind were also voluntarily contributed by CIAC employees for the relief mission.
The distribution was conducted by a combined team consisting of staff from the CIAC Public Affairs Division, Human Resource Department, Records Management Office, and the General Services Offices.
The relief activity was facilitated by Barangay Poblacion Dos officials led by Jocelyn Amo and Rachelle Oliganola.
“The relief mission is our way of giving back to the community by assisting those in need to make a difference and, in our own little way, help ease their difficult situation,” Alcazar said.
