Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — The two-day Central Luzon Anti-Drug Summit successfully concluded on November 20, 2025, bringing together key representatives from PDEA, PNP, national agencies, LGUs, and civil society groups to reaffirm a unified regional approach in combating illegal drugs.
Hosted by Police Regional Office 3 under the leadership of RD PRO3 PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr., the summit served as a venue for validating the region’s real drug situation, identifying operational challenges, and strengthening sectoral coordination across Central Luzon.
The closing ceremony was graced by Asec. Israel Ephraim T. Dickson, PDEA Deputy Director General for Administration and former DRDA of PRO3, whose presence underscored PDEA–PNP partnership at the regional level.
Throughout the two-day activity, participants engaged in presentations, threat assessments, and workshop discussions that resulted in cluster-specific profiles, policy recommendations, and an initial anti-drug roadmap for 2025–2028. These outputs will be consolidated and forwarded to concerned agencies for alignment and implementation.
RD PRO3 PBGEN Peñones acknowledged the contributions of all attendees and emphasized that the summit’s outcomes support the PNP Focused Agenda of Acting Chief PNP PLTGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr., particularly in enhancing managing police operations, strengthening community partnerships, and maintaining a safe and drug-resistant Central Luzon.
The summit concluded with a fellowship gathering, symbolizing the unity and shared responsibility of all agencies working together for a drug-free and progressive region.
