CITY OF MALOLOS – “Rest assured, we are committed to being your trusty partner in maintaining safe and organized school facilities all across Bulacan. Our main mission is to fortify the education sector in our province, a crucial step towards building a thriving, harmonious, and prosperous community.”
Bulacan Governor Daniel R. Fernando shared this inspiring message during the grand unveiling of Marcelo H. Del Pilar National High School’s brand-new gymnasium in Bagumbayan here. The state-of-the-art facility was officially handed over and inaugurated recently, marking a significant milestone for the school.
Fernando pledged that the province’s leaders will spare no effort in ensuring that schools have top-notch facilities that are safe and well-maintained.
The multipurpose gym, made possible through the efforts of Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation Chairman Alejandro H. Tengco and Bulacan 1st District Congressman Danny A. Domingo, provides ample space for students to participate in physical education, sports events, assemblies, and various ceremonies.
Senator Mark Villar, a staunch advocate for educational infrastructure, also graced the event and emphasized the importance of quality facilities like the gymnasium in fostering the growth and success of students.
The inauguration event was attended by Department of Education Schools Division Superintendent Leilani Samson-Cunanan, other DepEd officials, MDPNHS Principal Dr. Maria Victoria C. Vivo, department heads, teachers, staff, and grade 12 students. It was a joyous occasion celebrating the bright future of education in Bulacan.
