CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Twenty-nine illegal gamblers and eight other law violators were arrested in different police operations conducted by Bulacan Police on June 5, 2022.
Based on the reports submitted by PCol Charlie Cabradilla, Acting Provincial Director of Bulacan Police Provincial Office (PPO) to Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) regional director BGen Mathew Baccay, different anti-illegal gambling operations conducted by Meycauayan, San Jose Del Monte City Police and joint operatives of 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC) and Norzagaray Police resulted in the arrest of twenty-nine 29 individuals.
They were caught in the act of engaging in different illegal cockfighting activities while others for playing cara y cruz.
Confiscated were fighting cocks, gaffs, cutter, sling bag, box, bayong, six pcs one-peso coin and bet money in different denominations.
Meanwhile, a drug suspect identified as Emil Hipolito of Inaon, Pulilan was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of Pulilan MPS.
Seized were two sachets of suspected shabu and buy-bust money.
Five felons were arrested as the authorities responded in different crime incidents that transpired in the areas of Baliwag, Bustos, Marilao, San Rafael and CSJDM.
They were identified as Angelo Vergara of Capihan, San Rafael arrested for Rape in relation to RA 7610 (Child Abuse Law); Randy Pring of Gumaoc, CSJDM for Acts of Lasciviousness; Michael Salmo of Sta. Barbara, Baliwag for Slight Physical Injury; Danilo Balino of Valenzuela City for Acts of Lasciviousness in relation to RA 7610; and Joy Ann Ruiz of Novaliches, Quazon City for Theft.
Appropriate criminal complaints against all the arrested suspects are now being readied for filing in court.
Meanwhile, two persons wanted by law were arrested in separate manhunt operations were conducted by the tracker team of Marilao MPS and 1st PMFC.
They were identified as Jeff Arvin Relucio of Sapang Palay SJDM for Service of Sentence for two counts of Violation of RA 9165 (Dangerous Drug Act); and Francisco Aquino Jr of Lias, Marilao for Violation of RA 9165.
Both arrested suspects are presently under the custody of the respective unit/stations for proper disposition.
