Camp Gen Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan —The Bulacan police operations led to the apprehension of several individuals involved in criminal activities on August 20, 2023. These successful operations resulted in the arrest of lawbreakers, drug dealers, and wanted felons.
According to the reports submitted to PCol Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director Bulacan PPO, SJDM City PS acted on a search warrant issued by MTC Branch 1, CSJDM, Bulacan, in Towerville, Brgy Sto Cristo, CSJDM. The warrant pertained to an alleged violation of RA 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act). The operation resulted in the discovery of a caliber 22 revolver loaded with three (3) live 22-caliber rounds. Julius Samson (25), the subject, remains at large. The search occurred in the presence of local barangay officials, and the firearm has been sent to the Bulacan Forensic Unit for analysis and safekeeping.
In separate drug buy-bust operations, Guiguinto and Meycauayan City PS arrested two drug peddlers. They were Juanito Logan (33) from Malanday, Valenzuela City, and Dycr Jhun Lagnason (23) from Lias, Marilao. Confiscations included three (3) sachets of suspected shabu from Logan and three (3) sachets of suspected dried marijuana leaves from Lagnason.
The arrested individuals and confiscated evidence have been transferred over to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for examination, with criminal complaints under R.A. 9165 being readied for court submission.
Moreover, tracker teams of the 1st PMFC and Bulakan MPS arrested two (2) wanted felons, identified as Arjon Matthew Castro for robbery and MT Baesa for violation of BP 22. Presently, all the accused are under the custody of the respective arresting units/stations for proper disposition.
Furthermore, during an Anti-Criminality Checkpoint in San Ildefonso, Bulacan, a motorcycle disregarded orders to stop, leading to the vehicle hitting Patrol PNCO PCpl Kennedy Geneta (30) who was attempting to halt it. Both the driver, John Paul Redupla (25), and passenger, Jay-ar Reyes (25), were subsequently apprehended. Geneta is receiving medical care for leg injuries, while the suspects are in custody awaiting court procedures.
