Camp General Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos — During enhanced police response and operations on September 16, Bulacan PNP apprehended five (5) felons for various crimes and offenses.
In reports submitted to PCol. Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director, Bulacan PNP, it was stated that in San Miguel, Jerome Hidalgo, 38, of Brgy. Siksikan, Talavera, Nueva Ecija, was arrested by officers of San Miguel MPS for the crime of Omnibus Election Code, R.A. 4136 and violation of R.A. 10591 while conducting a checkpoint operation in Magsaysay Road, Brgy. Tibagan, San Miguel, Bulacan, after being spotted in plain view with a gun on his waist. Confiscated from the suspect was an unlicensed caliber 38 revolver with serial number 677123.
Meanwhile, a manhunt operation conducted by the Tracker Team of joint operatives of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company and RMFB 3 resulted in the arrest of Karen Leah Sarmiento, 40, of Estrella Homes 3, Brgy. Gaya Gaya, CSJDM, by virtue of a warrant of arrest for the crime of Unjust Vexation in relation to R.A. 10175 issued by Hon. Grace Victoria Ruiz, Presiding Judge, Regional Trial Court, Third Judicial Region, Branch 22, Malolos City.
In Baliwag, Rustico Poreno Jr., 49, of Brgy. Makinabang, Baliwag City, was arrested by operatives of Baliwag CPS in an anti-illegal gambling operation that transpired at Brgy. Poblacion, Baliwag City, at about 11:30 in the evening of September 16. Confiscated from the suspect were papelitos and bet money in different denominations.
In Malolos, Alexander Rivera Aranas, 27, of Brgy. Bagna, of Malolos City, was arrested by responding operatives of Malolos CPS for the crime of Homicide after stabbing a 19-year-old victim.
In Plaridel, Aldrin Ocampo, 27, of Cabio Bakal, Brgy. Balucuc, Apalit, Pampanga, was arrested by operatives of Plaridel MPS in a follow-up operation for violation of P.D. 1612 (Anti-Fencing Law) that transpired at General Alejo Santos Road, Brgy. Bintog, Plaridel, at about 5:30 in the morning of September 16.
All the arrested accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit or station for proper disposition.
