BULACAN PNP ANTI-CRIME DRIVE NET 24 LAW VIOLATORS

Camp Gen Alejo S. Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Fourteen drug suspects, nine (9) wanted persons, and one law breaker were arrested by Bulacan Police in different police operations conducted on May 17 and 18, 2024.

According to the reports submitted to PCol Relly Arnedo, Provincial Director of Bulacan PPO, in different buy-bust operations conducted by San Rafael, Baliwag, Angat, Malolos, Meycauayan, and Calumpit Police Station, fourteen drug peddlers were arrested. Confiscated during the operations were a total of thirty-six (36) plastic sachets of suspected shabu and buy-bust money.

The arrested suspect and the confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. While criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspect is now being prepared for filing in court.

Meanwhile, the tracker teams of Sta. Maria, Norzagaray, San Miguel, Plaridel, Meycauayan Police Station, and Bulacan 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company together with 301st MC, RMFB 3, arrested nine (9) wanted persons in different manhunt operations. They were arrested for crimes of sexual assault, grave threat, frustrated murder, falsification of public documents, attempted homicide, reckless imprudence resulting in serious physical injuries, violation of R.A. 10591, and resistance and disobedience to a person in authority or agents or such.

The arrested accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/station for proper disposition.

On the other hand, an anti-illegal gambling operation was conducted by Angat Police Station, wherein an individual was arrested for the act of collecting bets intended for STL without any identification card or certification from STL Franchise authorizing him to collect bets. Confiscated evidence consisted of one (1) set of playing cards, STL booklets, and bet money in different denominations.
