Katrina Anne B. Balingit, head of Bulacan Provincial Public Affairs Office (PPAO) said that one of the topics that was brought to the table was the accessibility of the soon-to-rise P740-billion New Manila International Airport in Bulakan, Bulacan to the proposed P50-billion Bulacan Mega City in the municipalities of Balagtas, Bocaue, and Pandi which was presented by Pandi Mayor Enrico Roque during their visit last September 5, 2022.

Roque said, the soon-to-rise 400-hectare P50-billion Bulacan Mega City that will be constructed by Chinese investors in three municipalities of the province including the towns of Pandi, Balagtas and Bocaue will generate 100,000 jobs for the Bulakenyos.

According to the governor, it is necessary that such kind of development complements and harmonizes with the other developments in the province.

But Fernando, Roque ensured that there will be a balance of industrialization and environment preservation in these future development projects.

Meanwhile, RSA reported to Fernando two of the several proposed access roads leading to the Bulacan airport including Marilao Interchange and Tabang Interchange in Guiguinto.

On the other hand, as part of their corporate social responsibility, RSA shared that SMC is currently conducting massive dredging projects on the four major river systems in the province.

He also disclosed that the 300-hectare Bulakan Mangrove Ecopark was preserved amidst the construction of the Bulacan airport.

“Ngayon pong panahon ng tag-ulan, magandang balita po para sa mga Bulakenyo na marinig natin mula mismo kay Sir Ramon Ang, na katuwang natin sila sa paggawa ng hakbang upang maprotektahan ang ating kalikasan. Patunay po nito na kayang pagsabayin ang pag-unlad at pagpreserba ng ating mga likas na yaman,” the governor said.

Fernando also thanked Ang for extending financial aid for the updating of the Provincial Development and Physical Framework Plan of Bulacan.
