CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Eight drug peddlers, six wanted felons, seven illegal gamblers, and three law breakers were arrested during intensified police operation in Bulacan on March 10, 2023.
According to reports submitted to PCOL RELLY B ARNEDO, Provincial Director of the Bulacan PNP, said that a series of drug operations by the Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU), Station Drug Enforcement Units (SDEU) of Malolos, Plaridel, Bocaue, Bustos, and the 2nd PMFC C/PS resulted in the arrest of eight ( 8 ) drug personalities.
They were identified as Michael Laplana, Marlon Adriano, Jayboy Liberato, Rex Teves, Paolo Dela Cruz, Renaldo Non, John Mark Gabalse, and Arcadio Enriequez, an estimated combined drug value of PHP 93,508.00, consisting of a total of twenty-seven (27) sachets of suspected shabu and eleven (11) sachets of suspected dried marijuana leaves, as well as drug-related paraphernalia and marked money, were also recovered.
Meanwhile, a persistent pursuit operation by the tracker teams of the San Ildefonso, Sta. Maria, Plaridel, Balagtas, and Malolos C/MPS six (6) wanted persons arrested. They were arrested for the crimes of Reckless imprudence Resulting in Serious Physical Injuries, Less Serious Physical injuries and Anti-Gambling Law (PD 1602). All the accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/station for proper disposition.
Moreover, the anti-illegal gambling operation of the Malolos City Police Station led to the arrest of seven (7) illegal gamblers. They were caught in the act of playing cara y cruz. The recovered evidence is three (3) coins used in pangara and bet money in different denominations.
In addition, authorities in Calumpit and San Jose Del Monte C/MPS responded to different crime incidents that led to the arrests of three (3) felons. They were identified as alias Jay of Calumpit, Bulacan, arrested for Violence Against Women and Children (RA 9262); Allan Mendoza of Payatas, Quezon City arrested for Robbery, and Wennalyn Delos Reyes of Brgy. Dulong Bayan City of San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan for Qualified Theft.
