Camp General Alejo S Santos, City of Malolos, Bulacan — Seven (7) drug peddlers, seven (7) wanted persons, and ten (10) illegal gamblers were arrested by Bulacan Police in different operations conducted on August 7, 2023.
Based on the reports to PCOL RELLY B ARNEDO, Provincial Director of Bulacan PNP, a separate buy-bust operation was conducted by the Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) of the San Rafael, Angat, San Ildefonso, Baliwag, and Plaridel City Police Stations, and seven (7) drug suspects were arrested. They were identified as Henry Baldazo, Andres Lagman, Mark Morales, Jhayvee Capulong, Alexander Austria, Jorge Michael Janapon, and Ramon Ocay. They were arrested for selling suspected illegal drugs. Seized during the operations were thirty-eight (38) plastic sachets of suspected shabu, assorted drug paraphernalia, and buy-bust money.
The arrested suspects and confiscated pieces of evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination, while criminal complaints for violations of R.A. 9165 against the suspects is now being prepared for filing in court.
Meanwhile, seven (7) wanted persons were arrested in different manhunt operations conducted by the tracker team of the Municipal City/Police Stations of the 1st PMFC, Meycauayan, Angat, Guiguinto, San Miguel, Pandi, San Jose Del Monte, and Malolos. They were arrested by virtue of different warrants of arrest. They were identified as Rolando Monted, arrested for Violation of RA 10591 in Brgy. Tugatog, Meycauyan, Bulacan; Rafael Acuña, arrested for Murder, in Brgy. San Roque, Bulacan; and Joel Cirecos were arrested for theft in Nueva Ecija; Napoleon Estosane was arrested for Murder in Brgy. Poblacion, San Miguel, Bulacan; James Harold Espayos arrested for Attempted Homicide in Brgy. Masuso, Pandi, Bulacan; Jesus Bonina arrested for Frustrated Murder in Brgy. Bolacan, Bocaue, Bulacan; Emmanuel Navarrette arrested for the Ecological Waste Management Act of 2002 in Brgy. Poblacion, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan; and Ronnel Alacantara were arrested for RA 9262, Violence Against Women and Children in Brgy. San Vicente Malolos, Bulacan.
All the accused are presently under the custody of the arresting unit/station for proper disposition.
Meanwhile, separate anti-illegal gambling operations conducted of Malolos City Police Station led to the arrests of ten (10) illegal gamblers identified as Justine Nicol, Flordeliza Dela Cruz, Roselle Nicol, Mary Ann Adriano, Ma. Teresa Sangodanan, Feliculo Sangodanan, Ronnie Boy Rimando, Alexander Bulacan, Prudencio Padre, and Pedro Guevarra Jr. They were caught in the act of playing illegal card games (Pusoy). Evidence is a set of playing cards and bet money in different denominations.
