CITY OF MALOLOS – The Department of Health Central Luzon Regional Blood Center awarded the Bulacan Provincial Blood Center a Plaque of Appreciation for being a consistent lead blood service facility partner of local government units managed by the Provincial Government of Bulacan during the Sandugo Awarding Ceremony held at Premium Ballroom A, Premium Tower, Royce Hotel, Clark Freeport, Pampanga recently.
Regional Director Corazon Flores awarded the plaque to Bulacan Provincial Blood Center in grateful recognition for its support and commitment to Regional Voluntary Blood Services Program in the Campaign on Voluntary Non-Remunerated Blood Donation as Lead Blood Service Facility for the Calendar Year 2023.
Bulacan Gov. Daniel R. Fernando said that the Provincial Government of Bulacan will continuously support the objectives of the DOH and each LGU to ensure an access to a safe and adequate blood.
The Municipality of Paombong headed by Mayor Maryanne P. Marcos also received a Plaque of Appreciation as LGU partner.
Meanwhile, Fernando congratulated the four awardees for the City/Municipality with 1% Collection through Community-based Donation CY 2023 and were awarded with Plaque of Recognition including the Municipality of Pandi headed by Mayor Enrico A. Roque, City of Malolos headed by Mayor Atty. Christian D. Natividad, Municipality of Angat headed by Mayor Reynante S. Bautista and Mayor Arthur B. Robes of the City of San Jose Del Monte.
“Binabati ko po ang ating mga LGU na kinilala ng Sandugo Award. I am proud of your exemplary efforts on blood programs implementation. Nawa’y patuloy ninyong hikayatin ang inyong mga nasasakupan na makiisa at boluntaryong magbigay ng dugo upang mas maraming buhay ang ating masagip,” Fernando said.
The Sandugo Award is a recognition given to outstanding local government units, government institutions, private organizations and individuals for their unwavering support and contribution in the promotion of voluntary blood donation.
