CITY OF MALOLOS- The Province of Bulacan has administered a total of 4,023,817 doses of COVID-19 vaccine including first, second, and single doses since it started its vaccine rollout last March 8, 2021 up to January 16, 2022.
According to the report of the Provincial Health Office-Public Health posted on https://covid19updates.bulacan.gov.ph/, a total of 1,883,981 are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, while 1,947,467 received their first dose only.
The total number of fully vaccinated Bulakenyos constitute 72.5% of the 70% Coverage of the Eligible Population of 2,596,146.
Also, 192,369 Bulakenyos already received their booster dose.
According to Governor Daniel R. Fernando, more Bulakenyos are encouraged to be vaccinated as a result of heightened campaign of the government on the benefits of vaccines against the virus.
“Malayo na po ang narating natin. Malapit na po nating makamit ang herd immunity laban sa COVID. Parami nang parami ang mga kababayan natin na nakukumbinsi na magpabakuna dahil sa napatunayang bisa nito laban sa kahit na ano pang variant ng virus.
Kaya naman, patuloy ko pong hinihikayat ang ating mga kalalawigan na hindi pa nababakunahan, na magpabakuna na at sama-sama nating sugpuin ang COVID-19,” the governor persuaded.
The Province of Bulacan received a total of 4,586,231 doses of vaccine from the national government. Out of this number, 1,634,776 are Sinovac, 547,372 are Astrazeneca, 1,564,395 are Pfizer, 163,200 are Janssen, 592,208 are Moderna, and 84,280 are Sinopharm.
On the other hand, PHO-PH reported 492 fresh cases and 14 late cases yesterday, January 19, 2022 totaling to 10,098 number of active cases.
