Bocaue mayor offers reward for immediate arrest of cop killers

The Municipal Government of Bocaue, Bulacan under the leadership of Mayor Jonjon Villanueva is offering a P100,000 reward to anyone who can provide information or help in the arrest of the remaining suspect responsible for the killing of two Bocaue police officers last Saturday. 
 
Villanueva strongly condemns the heinous crime that claimed two cop heroes lives as he assured the public that they will do everything to help fir the immediate arrest of the remaining suspect.
 
“We encourage the public to cooperate in bringing justice to the police officers who died in the line of duty. If you have any information, please contact the nearest police station immediately or call 0998 598 53 76,” the mayor said.
 
Meanwhile, a follow-up operation by the Bulacan Police Provincial Office (PPO) has arrested one of the two suspects who shot and killed two police officers. 
 
Bulacan PPO director Satur Ediong identified the one of the arrested suspect as alias “Dado”, 38, a resident of Bunsuran, Pandi, Bulacan.
 
His accomplice, alias “Athan”, is now the subject of manhunt operation.
 
Both are responsible for the killing of two Bocaue Police, Police Staff Sergeants Dennis Cudiamat and Gian George Dela Cruz.
 
Charges of Violations of R.A. 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) in relation to the Omnibus Election Code, R.A. 9516 (Illegal Possession of Explosives), and double murder were filed against the suspects.
 
PBGEN Jean S. Fajardo, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 3 condemned the attack and killing of 2 policemen and assured that the victims will get justice.
 
“The Philippine National Police will relentlessly pursue all those responsible for this heinous attack. We will not rest until justice is served. This act of violence against our personnel will not go unpunished, and we will ensure that the full force of the law is brought down upon the perpetrators,” said Fajardo.
 
“We mourn the tragic deaths of our brave police operatives who dedicated their lives to serving and protecting the public. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families, and we assure them of our support during this difficult time. Their courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten,” she said.
