Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) continues to make significant strides in its relentless campaign against crime and illegal drugs, successfully executing two major operations that led to the arrest of high-value drug suspects in Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija, and one of Bataan’s Top 5 Most Wanted Persons in Abucay, Bataan on February 21.
At approximately 8:50 PM, personnel of Zaragoza Municipal Police Station – Drug Enforcement Unit (MPS-DEU) carried out a buy-bust operation in Barangay Concepcion West, Zaragoza, Nueva Ecija, resulting in the arrest of alias “Daryl”, 22, a van driver, and alias “Gail”, 32, a caregiver, both residents of the said barangay. Confiscated from the suspects were twelve (12) heat-sealed plastic sachets and one knot-tied plastic bag containing an estimated 110 grams of suspected shabu valued at Php 748,000.00, along with marked money and a blue Techno touchscreen cellphone.
Meanwhile, at about 4:55 PM, a joint police operation led to the capture of Danilo P. Angeles Jr., 49, a resident of National Road, Barangay Capitangan, Abucay, Bataan. Personnel from the Intelligence Section of RMFB3 and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) Bataan Provincial Field Unit (PFU) conducted the operation at Maedylaines Giftshop in Barangay Capitangan, Abucay, Bataan.
Angeles, listed as Bataan’s No. 5 Most Wanted Person, was arrested based on a warrant issued by Hon. Francis Avelyn B. Gallega-Vargas, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 92, Balanga City, Bataan, for violating Republic Act No. 11199, also known as the Social Security Act of 2018, for failing to remit the mandatory contributions of their employees to the Social Security System (SSS) and other government-mandated benefits. due to his failure to remit mandatory employee contributions to the Social Security System (SSS) and other government-mandated benefits.
