Camp Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — Central Luzon Regional Director PBGen Jose Hidalgo Jr. said that Bataan police were able to seize more than P1.5M worth of Shabu and arrest two individuals during separate anti-drug operations, Monday, March 27 in the towns of Abucay and Mariveles.
Citing the reports of Bataan PPO, joint personnel of Bataan Provincial Police Drug Enforcement Unit and Mariveles MPS conducted anti-illegal drug operation (buy bust) along Brgy. Alasasin, Mariveles, Bataan that resulted in the arrest of Rommel LIMBOC y Guevarra and confiscation of one (1) brown sling bag containing two (2) large, one (1) medium, one (1) small and four (4) teabag size plastic sachets containing suspected Shabu weighing more or less 150 grams worth PhP1,020,000.00 and Php 1,000.00 marked money.
Meanwhile, personnel of Abucay MPS arrested Celso Soriano RUBIANO during a check point operation along National Road, Brgy. Laon, Abucay, Bataan.
RUBIANO was on board his driven black Honda CBR 150cc and was flagged down because of over speeding and non-wearing of helmet. Operating team requested for his driver’s license and while getting his license inside a black sling bag, lawmen saw in plain view one (1) large size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu with an estimated weight of more or less twenty five (25) grams amounting to almost Php50,000.00.
Appropriate charges for violation of RA 9165 were referred to the court.
Hidalgo commended Bataan police for a job well done and further stated that the entire Central Luzon cops are committed to stop the proliferation of illegal drugs in the region.
