FORT MAGSAYSAY, Nueva Ecija – The 70th Infantry (Matapat at Matatag) Battalion, 7th Infantry (Kaugnay) Division, PA conducted joint donation of school supplies and assorted goods in collaboration with the Local Government Units (LGUs) of Bulacan, Malasakit Unang Republika Eagles Club (MUREC) and Bulacan Riders Club (BRC) to students of Norzagaray National High School Annex 2, Barangay Poblacion, Norzagaray, Bulacan on October 06, 2022.
The intent of the said donation is to help the community especially the students who are affected by the typhoon “Karding” in the affected barangays last September 25, 2022. 100 packs of assorted goods and school supplies were successfully distributed to the beneficiaries.
In his statement, Mr Ceanceno M Espiritu Jr, School Principal III said: “I am very thankful to the organizations that provided support and assistance through the donation of relief goods and school supplies.”
Meanwhile, Lieutenant Colonel Ronnel B Dela Cruz, Commanding Officer, 70IB expressed his gratitude to the LGUs, BRC, and MUREC for the initiative of providing assistance to the students of Norzagaray National High School Annex 2.
On the other hand, Major General Andrew D Costelo, Commander of 7ID emphasized the importance of camaraderie and collaboration during this rigid time of the local community, “We need to work hand-in-hand with other concerned government agencies to address the needs of the populace.” MGen Costelo added.
