PCOL RELLY B ARNEDO, Provincial Director, Bulacan Police Provincial Office identified the surrendered member of Melito Glor Command, Communist Terrorist Group (CTG), Juan Dela Cruz (real name withheld) alias Ka Dindo, 27 years old from Norzagaray, Bulacan.
PLTCOL ISMAEL C GAUNA, Force Commander, 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (PMFC), reported that around 12:30 PM yesterday, Bulacan police of 2nd Platoon, 2nd PMFC (led unit) together with Norzagaray MPS, PIU Bulacan PPO, Bulacan 1st PMFC, 301st RMFB3 and 70IB, 7ID Philippine Army facilitated the voluntary surrender of alias Ka Dindo at Brgy Sampaloc, San Rafael, Bulacan. He also submitted from his possession one (1) caliber 38, revolver, Smith and Wesson, with serial number S.058072 and five (5) live ammunitions and one (1) grenade hand fragmented.
Alias Ka Dindo, is now under the custody of 2nd PMFC for documentation and for Custodial Debriefing Report (CDR).
Bulacan Police is stern on its intensified campaign against insurgency and terrorism to ensure the provision of social services, employment opportunities and improved quality of life in communities that have been experiencing or are vulnerable to armed communist conflict.
